A significant early week snow is on tap for the interior northeast, with a mix as you get closer to the coast, and all rain for the i95 corridor. Let me just say this, if you live along the i95 corridor and want snow, this isn't your event. It's just not gonna happen. Can I see some flakes mixing in? Yes. Will they accumulate? Probably not. Why? It's too warm, ocean air and whatnot.
AREAS THAT WILL SEE SNOW include roughly a Burlington to State College west line. It'll be a narrow area, considering that the storm won't reach far enough west to reach the true cold air. However, areas in the MIX category ( if you look at the map below, most people fall in this category) could see a few inches of snow. It will be all RAIN along the i95 with warm ocean air being pulled in by the storm. It is not out of the question that this precipitation ends as a period of snow, which won't accumulate. I'll have a snow map out on this this evening so stay tuned!
